The Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI), an organization setup to provide a skilled workforce for the Electronics System Design Manufacturing (ESDM) Industry. ESSCI is a strong contributor to fulfilling the skills needs of the vibrant ESDM sector in India. We work closely with industry, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Ministry of Skill Development, and Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) to provide skilling, up skilling and re-skilling services to the industry. Over the years, we have successfully skilled over 1.8 million professionals for the ESDM industry and have a wide footprint across India.
ESSCI is a not-for-profit company headquartered in New Delhi. It was formed by the six major electronics industry associations representing the ESDM sector – ELCINA, MAIT, IESA, IPCA, CEAMA and ELCOMA in 2012.
ESSCI started National Electronics and IT Olympiad in 2023. After successful execution, we have announced 2nd edition starting from 15th June 2024.
